Hi my nan(alice griffin) was also sent to bessboro unmarried mothers home in 1947...she had my mother 1948 and left 1949....u need to contact sister mary @ bessboro and she will give u any details on file about her time in bessboro, but i know they know more but wont release any more info and its very frustrating!!!! kind regards hayley.
