I came across your posting as a result of tracing a Herring
family line from Norwalk, CT.
In case you don't have this info, here's some info from the CT Marriage Index:
Rolan Herring, age 19, Westport, m. Prisc P. Merritt, age 18, on March 14, 1959. I can't tell if Rolan is the actual first name or just the beginning of the name "Roland."
Prisc Herring, age 27, Norwalk, m. William J. Hyatt, age 29, Norwalk, on April 19, 1968.
