I am very busy these days trying to find my family. I am looking for my big brother who was put up for adoption when he was born.
My mom's maiden name was Priscilla Merritt. Her mom was Georgianna. The dad's name was ? Herring. My mother was born Nov. 27 1940. She had my other brother George Herring born two years before the baby she put up for adoption.

The baby's name was Walter Arthur Herring at birth.. March? He was born at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk Ct. My mom believes that he may have been in some kinda foster home before he was placed with adoptive parents.

I would like to get more info from her, but she is still very hurt about lossing him and crys every time I try to talk to her about it!

I am only a half-sister and I have a little brother too. I was bron in 68, my brother 70, and my mom had two other babies born after Walter . One was a bot who was still born, the other a little boy named, Eddie, who died at six months old from heart problems. I believe that both of those boys were Walters siblings.
