I am searching for info on my Birthmother. She was born in the summer of 1925 in a mid-western state. Was of Irish & Cherokee Indian decent. Her great or great grandmother was full blood Cherokee Indian. Adoptive mother said her name was EDNA (????). She had dark wavy hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes and had a very good posture. She did not like sports much but did like to read and sew.
My birthmother's mother died when she was 5 and she was raised my her maternal grandmother on a farm. Her father died when she was 11. Her grandmother and grandfather were seperated.
Birthmother only had a 7th grade education and could not get high paying jobs. She lived in Miami, FL from 1942 - 1947 when I was adopted. I was born in Nov. 1945. Noland Ebanks was my father (I have all the info on him). Birthmother worked as a bar maid, waitress, housekeeper, babysitter and elevator operator.
Birthmother was married shortly after she placed me for adoption (it appears from non-id info that she wanted to keep me but possible new husband did not want me or was not able to support her and me - she said that she could not ask him to support a child that was not his).
She returned to her home state after my adoption was final.
Her best girl friends name was Glory Jean and I was named after her. Vital satistics recorded it as Gloria Jean.

Does anyone know anything about this woman?
