I got my original birth certificate from Kansas Vital stat office. Did a little research and found my birthmother's sister. From there, I found her mother, brother, other sister and eventually found her living in Norwich Connecticutt. I learned she was 16 when I was born. She gave me the name of my birthfather. I found him in Kansas. I've met my birthfather, maternal grandmother, maternal aunt and uncle. Still waiting to meet my mommy. She had three girls after she had me and my real daddy fathered two boys after me. I have three sisters and two brothers. I found them when I was 42. It took a while. But, it was worth it.

My great grandfather's adopted name was Ralf Masters Nickle. He was adopted and for what reasons I am not sure. I do know the name of the man, but not the woman that adopted him. His name was Adolf Nickle, but changed it to Dolf Nickle, due to he didn't want to be associated with Adolf Hitler. I am looking for the bio family of Hermon Moege in Kansas. Hermon was adopted by the Moege family from the Ertelt family. Herman was born Jan 1883 and died 21 Jul 1928. Hermon has a brother, Otto who was adopted by the Thiel family and a sister Elizabeth family unknown.

Some time ago I posted an ISO birth parents and had a few replies.Recent findings indicate I may have been born in Kansas and processed through Wyoming. My birth name is Frank Ernst, as far as I know I was adopted through Casper,WY on or about December 7th, 1964.By Ray and Minnie Watkins, I believe that Ray ran the theatre there. I also know that he ran a Mobil Station in Goodland in 1964, and he worked at the sugar beet factory also. Any and all information appreciated. The rest of the story is they are both dead, and they took it to the grave with them.

My Grandfather and Great Aunt were adopted in Leavenworth Kansas around 1910. The two of them weight 5 pounds together. They were adopted by James Edward & Rosa Mae McGie. James had a sister living with him Mammie McGee, we also wonder if she was really the mother of the two. We have no record of her other than a census record showing that she was living with them in 1910 with their other adopted son Joseph. I can trace the McGie family all the way back to the late 1800's. Anyone with any piece of informaion please email me. Baby boy born Nov 20, 1933 named Jerry Lee, and adopted from the Crittenden Home for Unwed Mothers. Dorothy had no other children; she married an Edward C. Page who had three children and raised them as her own. She did not tell us (her step-children) about this baby and at her death we found many papers relating to this, including her many efforts to find him. I would like to do this in her memory and convey to this son many pictures and momentoes of the Belden family.
