Surnames: Desrochers, Gendreaux, Bailey, Mainfield
My grandmother Helen M. Desrochers was adopted sometime after her birth in 1903. (Adopted name, Pauline R.
Bailey.) She searched for her birth parents when she retired in the 1960's and thought she had found her birth mother, Lillian Mae DesRochers. Lillian's mother was Cora Gendreau. (There was an "x" on the spelling I received). Any information to verify what my grandmother thought she found would be appreciated. Cora's husband was Thomas DesRochers. Her mother was Sophia Mainfield and father Julius Gendreaux.
