Hello,
Does anyone out there on this board know of a Hugh Simpson born about 1746; who came from the Pendleton District area of South Carolina after 1800 to Mississippi? He is on the 1790 & 1800 census records there. Then in 1805 census of the Territory of Mississippi, living in Jefferson County.

Help needed to put these people in the correct family in the area of Feliciana, La. and Jefferson, Ms.:
Nancy Simpson born ca.1765 m. Samuel Neeley, Sr.,
Samuel M Simpson b. ca. 1788 m. Sarah Rowley
Thomas P. Simpson b. ca. 1792 m.Martha Cook
Andrew B. Simpson b. ca.1798 m. Amanda Cook.

I feel these are all children of the above Hugh Simpson. I have one other child a Betsy Simpson b.1788 m. Stephen Callender in 1806 in Jefferson Co. Ms. She is the mother of my 2nd g-grandfther Robert S. Callender. I think she is their sister and a daughter of Hugh.

Information welcome. Proven connections to these people by you is appreciated. And any speculations reviewed.

Thank you all.
