Selma (Walters) Jalbert, My great great great grandmother was adopted by Jacob and Bertha Walters. She was born on April 25 1892, in North Dakota on the 1900 census she was listed as a boarder who was seven years old, born in North Dakota, Parents were both from Norway. I don't know if any one knows but are adoption records public after 100 years in North Dakota like they are in MInnesota
