I am trying to verify the existence of a Lutheran adoption agency that would have been located in Brooklyn, NY in 1949. There is a chance that it was located on 2nd Avenue, but I have been unable to verify this.
There is a Lutheran long term care facility on 2nd Avenue at this time, but I have no idea whether it would have been connected to an adoption service in the past.
Any information would be welcomed.
