Was he surrendered for adoption as an infant, or was he old enough to respond to his first name? In the latter case, social workers recommend not changing the first name.
In any case, with nothing better to go on, I entered his first name and d.o.b. (03-11-1975) and selected Rhode Island as the state to search---using the data base of PrivateEye.
They had one hit, a man living in Pawtucket, RI. They give his surname. I have no opinion as to whether he is the person sought.
