Birth parents of Dolly Pearl Reichelt

My aunt, Dolly Pearl Reichelt, was born 20 Nov 1907 and died 4 Feb 1987. Her mother was Betsy Eldora (Betty) Powell. Betsy married Edward Ludwig Reichelt on 13 Jul 1908. He adopted Dolly Pearl. I have a birth certificate with his name as the father.
The family story is that the father of Dolly was a cousin. Any information is most welcome.

I was born in the Rosebud Indian Reservation, 8/28/1964 I was #2 Baby of a set of twins known as baby 1 and baby 2 Ironheart, I was put up for adoption and was picked up at the Omaha Airport at the age of 2weeks by my adoped parents Harold Gathje & Ester Korn Gathje. The adoption was finalized in Wayne Nebraska. This was done through Lutheran Brotherhood. this is all I know. Thank you

I am looking for a large family of Ashmore's who would have been adopted or not officially adopted who were born in and around AK (specifically Ashdown, AK). As I understand it my grandmother birth name may have been Flossie, last name Ashmore was born in Ashdown, AK in 1923 and was possibly the 11th child. She was taken in by a nurse (Mary Randolph) in Rapid City, SD. I am not sure if the whole family ended up there or the circumstances of getting to Rapid City. If you can provide any possible answers it would be helpful.

I have been given permission from brian's mother sally , maiden name jendra, to post a picture of her boy who she is looking for. This picture was taken at his birth. His name at birth was brian jendra, mom's name was Sally Jendra, but her real name is Celestine and they call her Celeste.
Brian Jendra was born 8/20/64 , at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, county Minnehaha, South Dakota.
Sally has been looking for him for a long time, so she hopes there is someone out there who will recognize this baby and get back with her. I am betty and i am helping her. He was born at sioux valley hosptial, sioux falls, south dakota. Lutheran social services was in charge of the adoption and then it was transferred to catholic services.

My great grandmother was adopted. I don't know if it was offical. Her mother was Emily(Emma)Hazen. Her mother was born in Wisconsin. She was first adopted by Loren Parker in SD. Then she lived with the Moscripts in SD. She eventually married Samuel Parker. I am just curious if anyone knows any other info on this.

Wiepkje deBoer b 24-03-1877 in Gastmeer, Friesland, Holland. Her father was Douwe Ties deBoer. She married Tjeerd VanderZee b 23-09-1874 in Friesland, Holland. They emigrated to the USA in 1899. First settled in Whitensville, Massachusetts. Later moved to South Dakota and then to Michigan.

Info related to my maternal grandmother and her parents and sibblings.
Jantje VanHorrsen b ? - ? - 1865 in Gelderland, Holland
She married Frederik F. VanZee b 26-11-1848 in Gelderland, Holland. They emigrated to the USA in 1899. Settled in New Holland, South Dakota area.

I am trying to find if there are any records of adoptions in S. D. between 1880- 1900. My grandfather said he was born in Ipswich, Edmunds Co., S. D. in 1885 and he was orphaned young and didn't even know his parents name. His name was Henry Ross and know that was the true last name.

My grandmother was adopted she was half Souix. She is still alive but disowned our family I tried to contact the adoption agency in South Dakota where she was born but they told me with out her permission or unless she was dead I could not see her adoption records. (they are open) does anyone have a sugestion or do I have to wait until she passes away to find out my heritage?

I am looking for family with the name Retzer, originating in Germany, I believe. My father's birth name was Thomas Retzer. He was born in South Dakota on May 3, 1940. When adopted by Helen Buttner his name was changed to Dwain Maurice Buttner. He lived in Vancouver WA from 1943 -? and at the time of his death in 1997. Starting in 1910 through 1912 Mertie Weaver Wicks started giving her children to the South dakota Childrens Home. Mary was the yourngest born in 1907, then Robert born in 1905 believe he was adopted by a family in Deuel SD by the name of Elliott. Harol I believe was adopted by Family named Benson He grew up and lived around spearfish. Then Gertie. Do not find her until the 1930 census of California. I would like to find information on the children and their parents. I know mertie is burried in the Town of Sonoma bunt not the name she is burried under. Robert and Gertie also died in Sonoma years were btw 1975-1985.
Would like to be able to find what name Mertie died under and track the families that the clildren eventually lived with.

Family stories have told us that my husband's grandfather, Joseph Lane BENDER, was adopted by Fred & Ella (LANE) BENDER. Joe thought his biological mother's name was Pearl ANDERSON. Joe was born 16 July 1903, in S.D., Indiana or Chicago, IL. I sent for a birth record and it says that Joe was a legitamate child of Fred & Ella (it is a "delayed" birth record and was not filed until 1941. Some say Pearl's family was from Pierre, S.D., possibly homesteaded there. Does anyone have, or know where to find information on this adoption, if there was one?

My mother, Jessie Mae LeGate (maiden name),born in 1909 in Ainsworth, NE, gave birth in 1934 or 1945 at the Sisters Catholic Hospital in Rapid City or Hot Springs, SD (Close to Crawford NE) I don't know if she was married at that time or not, but heard that Morrison (last name) might have been the father. She must have given the baby up for adoption, because I did not find out about this baby until 3 yrs ago, long after my mother's death. I have been trying to use the internet to trace births at the Sisters Hospitals in South Dakota have had no luck. I would truly like to find my brother or sister.
