My grandfather's mother was a Coffey and was adopted as a child. Her parents were a priest and a nun...but nobody knew that. They tried to deny her birth so they would not loose their titles...but she was always told that she had a brother. My grandfather's name is James Anderson. So she married and Anderson...and my grandfather grew up in Ohio.
