Where can I send off to see if my mother was legally adopted in 1930. Born in Knoxville TN July 10 1929
I found a date in a family bible that might be date of
adoption June 19 1930, this was wrote under her birth date.
Roy and Nannie Hatcher was my grandparents
but my biological grandmothers name was Helen Ellen Nichols Grayson. I dont know if her husband Ike Grayson was my bio grandfather. I have been curious since my mothers death 2002
