Hello I am the grand daughter of Dorthy Jean Files from Texas.

Dorthy had a child in 1948 +/- a year or two, and gave up the child for adoption in Ft. Worth Texas. Father is unknown.
She possible used a maternity home like Gladney, but I am not for sure.

I am also looking for Dorthy's child given up in the late 60's, he was given to the Halcomb family in the Ft. Worth area. I believe his name was/is Daniel Paul Halcomb.
Dorthy was probably using her married name of Mayfield.

Also still looking for any sibilings or husbands etc... of my own birth mother Patti Rose Mayfield-Wise (also a child of Dorthy given up for adoption in 62 to the Wise Family)

Patti so far has given up children in 1977 and 1979
and I'm pretty sure their are more out there.

Last names that Patti has been known by; mayfield, wise, hazelett, burdett, williams, wilson

Patti's location is still unknown at this time. Last known address was in California, New Mexico, Reno, and Texas.

Marriages and Birth's were in Texas. Known to be in the Austin Texas area mostly.
