Searching for information of Sarah Reyano/Rayano born abt.1834 in Charlotte,Chittenden County,Vermont.

I have a birth record of Mary Pluff born August 12,1861 daughter of Aby Pluff and Sarah Rayano.Sarah Rayano was born in Charlotte,Vermont.I have 3 birth places of Aby Pluff,Durham Canada,NY and Vermont( believed to be Canada ).

I also have Abraham Ploff( name has changed to Ploof)born 1834 Durham Canada s/o Louis and Emilie Colin-Laliberte.Abraham died 1903 in Burlington,Vermont.Sarah Ann Zubar(adopted child)born abt.1834 in Charlotte,Chittenden County,Vermont and died October 28,1887 in Ferrisburgh,Vermont.Two daughter listed on Abraham and Sarah's marriage certificate dated May 17,1858 in the state of Vermont.A daughter born December 12,1859 and a daughter born August 12,1861.Mary Pluff born August 1861 and a daughter listed August 1861 on the marriage certificate of Abraham and Sarah Ploof,I believe match and are accurate.

I need help finding Sarah's birth and adopted parents information.I believe in the 1860 census,Sarah's parents listed as being born in Canada.I also believe the name Zubar is french.

I am helping a relative do some genealogy work. His father was adopted in Vermont (possbily born in NH, though) around 1914.

Any thoughts as to the next steps he will need to take to determine his deceased father's actual birth records? Should he start in NH or VT?

Searching for biological sister born 1938/39 Elizabeth Lund Home for Unwed Mothers, Burlington, VT. We think her name would have been Frances and she was adopted by a family from New York w/last name Loeffler. Also born at Lund Home in 1941 another daughter named Betty; she also adopted and we are pretty sure her adopted name was changed to Marcia and could possibly still be living in Vermont. Any information would be helpful.

You could contact the Dept. of Health in Burlington, VT to see if they still are.

I am searching for Information on my Birth Parents

I Was born In Burlington Vermont on March 08 1969 The The Lund home handled my Adoption.

My birth mother ( Patty ) was 22 at the time and was the Daugther of Retired Farmers. ( Ernest & Glenna ..... ??? ) she was born in Vermont and reside there.

Father is unlisted but was someone she has has a long term reationship with . He was 26 at the time of by birth and was in the service in Germany. nothing is mentioned of his parents other then they were farmers of a well established farm.

My name is amber. I've been looking for my brother who was given up for adoption in august of 1979. He was born in rutland vermont on august 13th, 1979. He was given the name of Dennis Ellison Hurlburt. I was born 2 years later. This has been a missing piece in my life since I've known about it, & even before that,I sensed something missing. I don't know where else to look, so if anyone has any ideas at all as to where he may be, I would greatly appreciate any info you can give me. There are also medical reasons to find him. our younger sister has been diagnosed w/ Addison's Disease. our mother also has an anti-body that should could have past down to him as well.

Searching for siblings, parents, and ancestors of Stephen REMINGTON (born 1770 in Rutland, VT; died 1830 in Town of Camillus, Onondaga Co, NY) married Thankful HILL (born 1770, Rutland, VT; died 1816, Rutland, VT) 1790 in Marcellus, Onondaga Co. NY. Stephen & Thankful had 13 known children, but it is their son Orange REMINGTON that is of the most interest, as that is the family line I am researching. There are many, many Remington’s from the New England area at this time, and it is very possible that Stephen is connected to those other Remington’s, but is yet to be discovered how. Appreciate any information, including leads about other REMINGTON and HILL family researchers. Will trade info.
