I am searching for my birthmother. Born in the summer of 1925 in a Mid-Western state. Of Irish & Cherokee Indian decent. Her name was EDNA. The Evans name was in the family.

The following info was found on the 1930 census. I believe EDNA TRACHEL is my birthmother.

Edward Rosk-husband, Goldie (Evans - maiden name) wife.
4 GLUTH children, Robert,Melba,Alfred and Goldie A.
EDNA TRACHEL is shown as a stepdaughter. The census shows they lived in Fairview Park, Cuyahoga, OH.

In my Non-ID Info it states that Edna's mother was married before and that she had 2 older 1/2 brothers and 2 older 1/2 sisters. The above matches this info. Also the Evans name is there. My adoptive mother said the Evans name was in the family.

My birth mother was discribed as having dark wavy/curly hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes and a very good posture. Edna only had a 7th grad education. She liked to read and sew but did not care for sports very much.

She live in Miami, FL form 1942 to 1947. She worked as a bar maid, waitress, housekeeper, babysitter and elevator operator. I was born in Miami, FL in Nov of 1945. I was supposed to be name after her best girlfriend, Glory Jean. Vital Satistics made a mistake and recorded my name as Gloria Jean Ebanks. Noland Ebanks was my birthfather ( I have all the info on him).

It states in the Non-ID info that EDNA got married (not my birthdad) shortly after she gave me up for adoption. After the adoption was final in 1947, she return to her home state.

Does anyone have any info about these families? if so, please advise. Thanks!
