After weeks of back and forth between Ancestry and Lizard Tech I finally discovered that MrSid for the Mac is missing a very important feature. In the Windows version it is a tab button next to the "View Full Screen" tab. Because the Mac version doesn't have this you cannot print a readable copy of an entire page of the census. Best you can do is blow up sections, print those, and then tape, yes tape, them together. What I find so aggravating is that I had to tell the people at Ancestry about this, they didn't know or at least if they did, they weren't going to tell me about it. When I did figure this out they directed me to Lizard Tech, Lizard Tech refused to say anything (Ancestry's version of MrSid is unsupported) but one of their reps, Ryan Burley said that it was a problem with the Ancestry website design...I think he was dodging the question as did Ancestry, who for weeks on end sent nothing but "canned" replies to my requests.

If anyone out there has found a way, on a Mac, to print and entire page, legibly, without tape....please let me know.
