If you read my post in this same thread, it seems like we are having a similar experience. Most of my ancestors either came from French Canada (Montreal), Acadia, or from France directly to French Louisiana... and remained here until the present day. I have 91% British Isles and no Western or Southern Eurpoe according to my test. I have one match for another individual wherein we share a common ancestor. Based on their tree, they have a lot of French Candians like myself and their profile is about 86% British Isles... I just think there is a mix-up somewhere for us. It would be helpful to see how they decided to seperate the different ethnicities. For instance, how far back are they able to go... would this include the Germanic tribes and their various migrations, etc?
