with PAF, one can enter MANUALLY the married name of a woman and then search/list/index on that ....but it is such a pain I gave up on that.
And then there are the women who have married three times or so....thus a women's married name(s) can be both a help and a big mess.....of course then there are those that hyphenate and combine the two surnames when they marry...good luck with that in a database or index!
With PAF, one can index on maiden names and include husbands name even if you only have his last name....just as you can sort by maiden name with or without her first name
