Ask yourselves a question. Why are we all doing all the "work" and suffering "expense" to create our very own family tree? So we can sit back and puff out our chests and be very privately proud of our arrogant selves or do we do all this "work" because we enjoy it and because we want to pass along the fruits of our labors to our family and posterity. Each researcher is personally responsible for the accuracy of the information he puts on that tree. Some folks aren't as concerned with the accuracy issue as others. Anything on my tree is open to anyone else and it is implied that if they are concerned with accuracy they should then try to prove the tidbit they may have gotten from me. Take a look at the website FindAGrave dot com. It is a WONDERFUL site built by users from all over the world. The contributors do it because they enjoy it and they enjoy helping people. Rather that spending time in the age old game of "hey, that's my toy" "but, I had it first" try spending a little time learning how we can all help each other.
