I posted this on the Member Trees board as I thought it was only happening when I was working in my tree but I'm reposting it here because it's happening outside of my tree, too.
Almost every page on Ancestry has a line in the center of it as it loads. It's not really on the page but sort of floating where the page will load. After the page is loaded, it disappears. It looks like the cursor but it doesn't blink and my pointer is somewhere else on the screen while this is happening. The line starts out huge, like 36 pt., for a split second then resizes to the size in the attached screen shot. It's even on the blank screen before the page loads. This started immediately after the navigation upgrade and it's not happening on any other website or anywhere else on my computer.
Also, any words near the line, such as in the death location field, are screwed up while the page loads, then they straighten out and become normal. You can see this in the screen shot, too.
Ancestry was loading extremely slowly yesterday, especially trees, but that seems to be better today.
Is anyone else having this strange symptom?
Is there a staff member out there who can look into this?
