So I'm searching on my ggggg-grandfather's name. I enter a year of birth of 1780 and a year of death of 1827.
What do I get back? Results for people who were born in the 1900s; even some as late as the 1970s.
Oh, and phone records. I get lots of them, too. But I'm fairly sure that my ggggg-grandfather's phone number was unlisted back in 1827, so those results are pretty much worthless to me. :)
This only started happening after the "improvements."
And the deletion of the "People I'm Looking For" is almost a show-stopper in itself. I don't want to put anyone in a tree unless I can document a relationship. I used to save documents in "People I'm Looking For" in order to do just that - document relationships. But now I can't save those documents anymore until I put someone in a tree. Catch-22. I'm not willing to compromise my research to that extent, and even if I was, the new tree interface is extremely inconvenient, requiring a page reload with every "life event." Very poor interface design.
The way I see it, when I renewed my annual subscription back in February, I paid for a service that was to last one year. Now, six months later, that service has suddenly deteriorated to the extent that it's virtually unusable.
I'm just not getting a warm fuzzy happy-customer feeling here.
