Personally, I think it wastes our time and yours if you put a half finished product out there and ask for comments. It seems to me that most of the comments you have received have gotten the same basic response - "that's just in the half we haven't gotten around to yet." Why have we had to go through this exercise? Why not just wait until it's ready?
There certainly is nothing that's so wonderful** about the new system that the launch couldn't have waited until it was really ready to go. And call me cynical, but I tend to think that the product that was put out there probably would have stayed exactly as it was presented several days ago, if we had not started complaining about the things we have brought up, because I don't think the programmers had any idea that the those things were important to users and had no intention of including them.
**and I am still just apalled at some of the "wonderful" innovations, such as, someone can add a comment to MY photo on MY tree, and I no longer have the ability to remove it. Is THAT problem going to be fixed in the next day or two? Or ever?
