I agree that her responses have been appreciated. It is unfortunate that unless there is something they haven't yet told us, I don't see this as a promising move for ancestry or many of us.
Andy, you have made it clear in numerous threads in the past that you do -not- value the photos. Okay, we get it. Yet somehow ancestry and many other people do seem to value them. I know you place little value on findagrave but that is an example of thousands of photos that people have appreciated. The topic of photos is one of the most repeated themes on these boards.
Where are the photos you want to share in your public tree on ancestry, Andy? I've seen your tree in the past. Have you now added photos? Or just Elizabeth Taylor.
Ancestry is going to do what they want to do. So will customers. The most positive post I've read so far was from someone who said they couldn't afford an ancestry account but they thought this was a great idea. So there is someone else's view.
Guess I'll wait and see how this goes.
