His obit ran in the "St. Joseph (MO) News-Press" paper (link below) --- unfortunately, the online obit archives don't go back to 2008.

There is a "contact us" page for the online newspaper, and I'll bet someone there could look it up for you, probably for a small fee.

If they can't, I'd suggest contacting the local town library researchers who can look it up and mail to you, again, for a small fee, I'm sure.
