I'm not sure about the quality of their books, but I ordered posters 12/23/08 choosing the option of 2nd day Expedited Shipping (this costs more but I had family in town and I was truly hoping to give them as gifts while they were here). Even with MyCanvas' minimum 5 day processing period for posters (minus weekends and the two holidays) my first package won't be delivered until 1/6/09! I should have had it on Friday, 1/2/09. I had to make 2 calls to Ancestry Customer Service line. Each time they told me that I would get an email when it shipped. Well, I finally did receive an email on 12/31 saying it "shipped" (UPS). So, I logged into the UPS website and for over 60 hours, all it said for the status was "Billing Information Received". They didn't even have the actual contents yet - only the electronic billing information for the pick-up. I'm going to ask for a credit for "their version of expedited shipping". Now, as a result, I will never order anything through them again. Buyer beware - don't order anything with the intent to get it when they say it will be delivered. Ancestry's shipping procedures leave MUCH to be desired.
