I've been happy with the way RootsWeb has handled my gedcom for many years, with not a single complaint......until now. Suddenly, my data is no longer MY data. It has become a place and opportunity for Ancestry to advertise itself. Further, many of the "hints" are just plain wrong and misleading. I am pretty confident of my data and take pride in having it as correct as I can manage. By splashing irrelevant and erroneous information across my data pages, Ancestry just flushed my satisfaction in their service right down the toilet.
