Ancestry.com and headstone photos

I just became aware of this so thought I'd share it.
If you have uploaded a photo of a headstone to your tree, and classified it as a headstone photo in the "Edit information" link, Ancestry.com will at some point add it to its own database entitled "U.S. Headstone Photos" located here:

At first it says the photos were provided by Allen Wheatley and most are located in TX but if you click "For more information about this database" it gives you instructions for how to upload & classify headstone photos to your tree and then says "Uploaded headstone photos will be included in the Ancestry Headstone Photos database on a periodic basis."
The information from Ancestry is not dated so I don't know if this is something new or if it's been there a long time.
