A careful reading of the Agreement and the Terms and Conditions will show that the price of subscription covers whatever various databases are available online at any particular time during the period of the subscription with no mention that any database will be available during the full terms of the subscription - a subtle but vital difference.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a reduction in subscription costs.
