Board guidelines/rules: as long as a post is ON TOPIC for a board on which it is posted, it is the POSTER'S choice which board to place it on for maximum exposure. In other words...a post about SMITHs in York County, PA would be on-topic on either the county board OR the surname board---poster's choice.

Where are you getting "not the names of individuals?" I never said that. For any cemetery post to be appropriate it would have to include the name of the person buried in the plot/cemetery.

Most of the teafor2 posts ARE on surname boards --- where are you getting information that they are NOT?

Data that you call "clutter" is merely data that isn't useful to YOU...to the person for whom it is the key to unlocking a brick wall it is priceless information.
