daciodan is right, if you have a trial account of some kind, why waste it by trying to do something you don't understand? It's a good idea to take some time to check out the Learning Center, things are never as easy as the commercials say, especially if one wants to really find their ancestors. Take some time and explore the LC and get to know what kinds of things you need to do to get started. All of us here started out not knowing a darn thing once upon a time, and it took some time for us to get used to genealogy, too. It's just like a child, you have to be taught some things before you move on to the next step, and it takes great patience to do that.
