I was not involved in One World Tree. Why did it decline? Since you have spoken out so strongly against that, do you see something different happening now? It seems to me that this has been tried and has failed repeatedly. How many policemen will it take to patrol each and every person profile? How much will they be paid? Who do they answer to? You have raised a concern. Where do you see this going?
My concern is that ancestry survives. The evidence from past attempts is that these big tree attempts did not survive. And I don't see a place for the average person or a real reason for them to stick with ancestry should it go the big tree route.
Mundia was problematic enough. It already had for the presenting page for one of my people with the death information shown as the primary photo while actually giving a different death location. Nobody appears to have noticed they conflicted. Silly.
