I have been a member of ancestry for several years. I have been very disappointed recently with ancestry giving me negatives for searches I know should be positive. I knwo this either because I have previously found them on ancestry or have found them elsewhere.

My most recent example: I was looking for William Weaver of Llanerchymedd Anglesey Wales. I tried various parameters including the two most obvious

I found him immediately on findmypast.co.uk
Can anyone explain what is going wrong?
