Ancestry does that already - by telephone and/or email contact prior to subscription renewal. In your contract with Ancestry, you have previously agreed to keep your contact information current, and you have agreed to accept billing renewal in any event.
The more comments I read, the more convinced I am that most of you who are arguing against Ancestry's practices have never read their contract .....
