Assuming Mr. Oltman is referring to the Ontario Consumer Protection Act of 2002, the statute states:
"this Act applies in respect of all consumer transactions if the consumer . . . is located in Ontario when the transaction takes place."
However, the Regulations implementing the Act, effective 7/30/2005, contain provisions and exceptions for remote agreements, internet agreements, and future services agreements. I'm sure MyFamily's legal department will do the homework.
