I have searched in vain and can't find one family in the 1870 census. Maybe someone can help. I have searched locally and nationally.I have used every spelling, wildcards, using just first names and even just the ages.
I know they should be in Kansas. These people were in Doniphan County in 1860 and my ancestor was married in Douglas County in 1872.
So these are the people I am looking for;
Harrison Crites aged about 36 from PA.
Nancy Jane Crites or Granfield aged about 32 from IN.
Julia Ann Granfield or under Crites aged about 13 from KS.
Caroline Granfield or Crites aged about 12 from KS.
George Granfield or Crites aged about 11 from KS.
