Being So-called professors does not keep someone from being stupid when it comes to genealogy. In fact, I suspect just the opposite as one could think themselves smarter than the "average bear" as the saying goes.

I find that my ancestors are frequently added to the wrong parents, children, etc. I just sent a message to just such a tree owner last night. My father has an unusual given name but a very common surname so some, finding my father's given name, relate it to another man with the same given name. I am very polite about it and do send messages, most times ignored. In fact, I think i had probably sent the same message to this tree owner previously. All you can do is keep harping on it. Not much else anyone can do about it if the other person refuses to listen and just keeps on clicking, clicking, etc.
