Ladies and Gentlemen: Perhaps all have FORGOTTEN the "wonderful" 75 YEAR RULE---tis WHY census are NOT released until that wonderful 75 year mark has been reached.

Granted, the "unspoken" hint might be that if you can trace whomever up to the 1940 census and then have wonderful access to OLD NEWSPAPERS one would be able to find out about those "living relatives"---via the OBITUARY, WEDDING, BIRTHS, ETC---such as in the case of the wonderful, and wonderfully informative site of OLD FULTON, NY, POSTCARDS---which is a site of old newspapers from NY and sometimes other areas--of which I savor quite nicely.

OTHERWISE---in the case of NY State, it is SECRETE all the way. However, with "practice" there is more than one way to "skin the dog" so to speak.

So, folks---don't blame Ancestry for wanting to keep all those people PRIVATE.

AND YES, YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT THOSE IDENTITY THIEVES---they're out there EVERYWHERE---why not consider that they'd be TROLLING our "innocent geneology trees and message boards and whereever they can think of . . . . .

I'M SURE YOU GET THE IDEA
