Thanks, that helps a lot, never used gedcom only PAF but I'll figure it out from here. I was trying to import some of the people by using the "import person to another tree" and that didn't work out too well. Husbands were being put as fathers, wives as mothers, couldn't figure out how to import the person to the new tree in the proper family position. Are there any Ancestry tech forums? Thanks for your helpful responses.
