I am looking for any information on Alfonso Battaglia,my great, great grandfather born approximately 1848. I know based on records that he lived in San Cataldo, Cat., Sicily and was married to Antonina Piazza. I know he married her about 1872. They had several children in San Cataldo and most immigrated with them to America in 1903 en route to Farnham, NY to a brother-in-law Antonino Mondi.

Unfortunately I can not find any evidence that Alfonso was born in San Cataldo so I am curious where he was born, where he was married, and who his parents were.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
