I joined ancestry.com today. I went to look for my birth record in Florida. I have a certified copy of my birth certificate. Ancestry.com returned NO results for me or my parents or even my siblings who were all born in the same place as well.
Even in a general search of just our last name during the time frame returned nothing.
What gives? Florida doesn't give out birth records? I was born in 1971 and I know they have to have some kind of database with all this info in it.
