Hi Elaine! I'm so pleased that you responded. I was worried that too long had passed and I wouldn't be able to contact you. I sent a message to every Elaine Houghton I could find on Facebook - there were 12 of them! Yes Grandad, Nanna, Dad and Derek all emigrated in 1954. Unfortunately Derek died in a motor bike accident on New Years Eve in 1957. They were understandably devestated. I've been trying to ring Dad to let him know about you but he's hard to get hold of - he's a bit of a social butterfly these days! Dad went to NZ and met my mum over there.
