Looking for information on John Mc Cormick

I know he died on Grindstone Island (present day Cap-aux-Meules?) on 22 Apr 1869,-before the 1870 census, but arrived after the 1860 census- and is buried in St. Luke's Church yard cemetery on Grindstone Island, Les-Iles-de-la-Magdalen, Quebec. His wife was Anne (nee Burke), had sons Samuel and William, daughter Mary, and he worked as a farmer, fisherman and customs official.

What I would like is a photo of his headstone, or at least a transcript- I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YEAR HE WAS BORN, AND WHERE!!! I'm pretty sure he was born in Ireland, between 1820 and 1840, but then again, so were several hundred other "John Mc Cormick"s of various spellings.

Got the picture for you and a whole in the ground was dug up for an urne. My guess is that it's for Juliette Deschatelets, married to Bertrand Rolland, and the date of burial will be november 14, 2012. Do you know who she is ? How is she related to you ? I'm just curious if you know of her I also took a picture of the back of the headstone as some names were there too.

so there ya go.. enjoy :)

and the lots you indicated as FT will not be found as FT means "Fosses temporaires" (commune lots). Those are unmarked graves so the people you are looking for will not be found.

Someone burried in an FT grave are for 10 yrs and after the 10 yrs is up, the family is contacted if they want the remains to be burried in a lot. If not, then the emplacement where the remains are can be sold to someone else and thus have another body/remains burried on top of the older remains.
