Thanks so much for your information, however this is so confusing. There are 3 or more Joshua Goads in my family, the one I want his tombstone was born 3/30/1786, parents Abraham goad (1740-1816) & Anne Ayers (1740-1788) .

THIS Joshua's wife I have listed as Sarah "Sallie" Smiddy (1790-1840.Yes, I mistyped the date for William's son.
The Elizabeth Robbins that was married to a Joshua Goad was born in 1831, and Sarah born 1790, makes me think I am missing a joshua in there somewhere.
