I can't answer your question specific to York Co., but in the research I've done over the last 7 years, it's been my experience that cemeteries don't keep any record of the death certificate, undertaker, or cause of death. They usually just have a log of who owns the plot, the names of people buried in that plot, and their dates of BURIAL, not the dates of death. The funeral home or undertaker often kept detailed records though. What specifically are you trying to find? A date or cause of death?
