Looking for Burial Site for Henry McEwan

Classification: Query
Surnames: McEwan, McEwen
My Great-grandfather, Henry McEwan who was born in Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland enlisted in the Seaforth Higlanders (Ross-shire, the Duke of Albany's) in Glasgow, Scotland for World War One. He was living in Nova Scotia at the beginning of the war. According to records I have been able to find so far, he was in the 1st Battalion, rank was a private. He is said to have died of his wounds on Nov. 8, 1914 in France & Flanders. I am trying to locate where he was buried and to also find out more information on his family. My Grandmother was only 4 when he died and was abandoned shortly afterward by her mother Rose Langille McEwan. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know nothing about the McEwans from Glasgow, Scotland
