Can anyone suggest possible burial places for the related VanAntwerp and Harrison families:
1. In the Riley Kansas area:
Jacob and Elizabeth VanAntwerp around Riley, Kansas. Jacob born 1829-1830 in Pennsylvania was dead by 1900. Elizabeth born September 1839 in Pennsylvania, last appeared as widow in 1910 Shawnee census, age 82.
2. In Topeka or Kansas City Missouri:
William A. Harrison and wife Bertha VanAntwerp Harrison are in Riley, then in Shawnee County,KA
William born October 1858 in Kansas, father born Indiana, mother Alabama. Bertha VanAntwerp Harrison born December 1869 in Kansas.
1. Riley or Ft Riley Kansas: Jacob VanAntwerp & wife Elizabeth (maiden unknown), with 5 children, Bertie is one daughter. Census records from 1870 to 1910 Riley, Kansas, when Elizabeth is a widow age 82.
2. In 1880 William A. Harrison, and wife Bertha/Bertie VanAntwerp Harrison are living on Yuma Street in Manhattan City, Manhattan Township, or Ward 1-4, Riley, Kansas.
In 1910 Harrisons moved to Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.
By 1930 daughter Ruth Harrison is she married Charles Jaechke, Jesske, Jaeschke and living with her parents, the Harrisons in Shawnee County. In 1930 William was 70 and Bertha was 60. Didn't find William A. or Bertha Harrison in the 1940 records.
In 1940 Charles E. Jaeschke and wife Ruth Harrison have moved to in Ward 9, Kansas City, in Kaw Township, Jackson County, Missouri. Did her parents the Harrisons die there?
Eventually one or both of the Jaeschkes made their way to California, LA or Sacramento area.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
