Replying out of curiousity - I have a Smith relative who I believe was buried in Lucknow, and one of her three marriages was to a Stephenson in Madras. She began life as Rebecca Tristram, (1857 Madras), married Uriah Stephenson and had four sons and a daughter, after Uriah's death, married Charles Smith, a further two sons, Charles and Hedley in the 1880;s, after the death of Charles, she married Eernest Draper and I believe, died herself in Lucknow in 1899.
