My husband John Harper was born in Belfast in 1934 an.d sadly his mother Edna May Harper died at home in Avoniel Road in July 1941. John moved to Coventry in 1960s and died here in February 2012. I am wanting to bring a portion of his ashes to be placed on Edna's grave . John never knew where the funeral was or the location of the grave. Belfast City Council have no record in their cemetries and family members have also been unable to help. There were links with the Church of Ireland and Presbyterian churches so maybe someone has information to pass on to me.
