I'm seeking information about the Cazalet family in Ireland. They were Huguenots.
Charles Cazalet, gluemaker and tanner in Cork with addresses of Blackpool and Great Britian Sts. in 1787 and 1809 Cork City Directories.
James Cazalet married Harriet Brunton at St. Mary's parish in Limerick in 1810.
Harriet Cazalet married Richard Townley, cork and ross, 1809.
Suzanna Cazalet married John Hayden, cork and ross, 1803.
Mary Cazalet married James Gonne, cork and ross, 1791.
Ellinor Cazalet married William Conn, cork and ross, 1793.
Elizabeth Cazalet married Joseph Townsend, cork and Ross, 1796.
I don't know how these individuals were related.
Can find no records of them other than these.
By 1824 Cork City Directory, there are no Cazalets listed.
A Charles Cazalet married Judith Smith in Portland, Maine in 1821.
My ggggrandfather, Charles Cazalet, lived at 28 Barclay St. in Manhattan, New York, according to the 1830 NYC Directory. His wife's name was Jane (1831 NYC Directory). Her name may have been Mary Jane Ebbon (Ebben). I don't know who his parents were.
Any assistance with any of these people would be very much appreciated.
